If you have a good one the taste will slowly taper off. Bad ones will gurgle and pop early. Anywhere from immediately to a couple days in. The ratio of good to bad is 1 in 6-8 in my experience.
If I'm ignoring you it's because you're fallacy impaired. Here's hoping you rectify your problem so that we might have a sensible conversation.

1 being bad, 6-8 being good.

No. They're duds. You'll notice it. Otherwise just pay attention to the taste.

I did notice if I drop 2-3 drops of juice directly into it.. it tastes WAYYY better.
Too bad its not hitting like that normally.

Maybe my mix of PG%/VG% is not the best fit for the Nautilus Mini?

Always change when the taste is gone.

Depending on the juice you use, this can be from 4 days to 3 weeks.

The darker the liquid, the sooner you need to replace

One per week.

The flavor is different after 5-6 days, burning taste coming up slowly.

Used on Vamo V5, 15-20W, 100% VG or 50-50% PG-VG
Look but don't touch. Touch, but don't taste. Taste, don't swallow.

I can normally go about 10 5ml tanks or so before replacing. I use 90vg/10pg juice normally. On 100VG juice I am lucky to last 3 tanks before the taste is just completely gone. I can still vape like this and get nicotine, but the enjoyment is gone. That being said, they perform as well as the originals. They are also almost certainly the original, as the wicking does not act like cotton, but rather ceramic foam, or whatever it's called. I have been able to clean coils with dry burns and water (which would likely ruin cotton), but at this price I don't mind chunking them when I need another. I wouldn't recommend the dry burn cleaning to anyone not willing to risk their health in one way or another.

Using high VG juice I highly recommend a few drops directly onto the mesh, the wicking should drink it all up without a problem. This helps the wicking process and I only have to do it on a new coil.

Highly recommended, and I haven't gotten a dud yet. My only problem was before I figured out I need to prime the wick as mentioned above. I've gone though close to 25 of these coils and saved a lot of money.

Also, These work best between 11-17watts in my opinion, I personally use them on 15 without a problem, around 18 watts and higher, you can tell the juice isn't making it to the coil fast enough. And I imagine that this would contribute to burnt tastes.
