I found the switch on the V2 to be really crappy. Didn't bother to try too hard to fix it as I have plenty of V1s :)

Have to say that the V1 Atomo is the best mech I ever tried. Got quite a few on here, and from other places and they all worked great. I even tried to buy an authentic one, but by then it was only V2s available and second hand junk V1s from classies on the forums.

Might have to clean them up and try using them again now that you've mentioned them :)

ok, 4 layers of foil, shim goes abt 2/3rd the way around the threads. Hits harder now too.

--what bugged you abt this V2 switch, Sossij?

The switch was unreliable. Different voltage drop every time you pressed it, despite endless cleaning, polishing and tweaking. Ended up having to press it white-knuckle style dead centre every time to get a consistent vape.

The V2, like this one here? That's so weird. Mine's been completely predictable with almost no throw, and now with a good ketchup clean and a foil shim in the contact screw threads, hits better than before.

edit: hm. The only adjustable thing with mine is the black delrin insulator. i don't remember if i took it out to sand the bottom down, to shorten it a bit.

more edit: prolly not.
