Unlikely, but it is possible it will fire. Some of the older ones will fire just about anything (no protection), but the newer they are, the more likely to be limited to 1.2oHm and above they are.

I wouldn't recommend extended use below 1.0oHm with these to begin with though, even if it does fire it.

Woah, mama!

Thanks very much johnny_469. Is this a function of the voltage of the battery....3.7 not sufficient? I'm a little new to this, thanks for the wisdom.

The control module should limit you to 1.2oHm and above, not the internal power cell. If it doesn't, do be careful, as below that can be hazardous.

Most of the EVOD batteries only had a 3 amp limit and even at 3.7 volts a .8 ohm resistance would give you 4.625 amp draw. You would run the risk of the battery failing and possible very badly. 1.2 ohm resistance would put you on the edge of the batteries limit and minimize it's longevity. I suggest you find something in the 1.5-1.8 ohm or higher range for this battery.
After successfully ignoring Google, FAQ's, the board search and leaving a undecipherable post in the wrong sub-forum don't expect an intelligent reply.

It will flash and shut down under 1 ohm, even at 1.5 ohm and below will flash warnings and stop firing.

The eGo 1, Clover and other various sub ohm batteries will work.
Peace be with you ...
