Info on charger
Started a different thread on the charger

5vdc USB mini input...regulates down to to the CC/CV charge pattern of Li Ion batteries using the TP4056 controller IC, you can change the regulated output current by changing the vprog resistor on pin 2

And you can build your own Li Ion single cell recharger and with volt display module SKU 1222902

I'm quite interested in this, not done electronics for a loooong while but working and fixing up electric cigs has awakened a curiosity for making my own custom mod but with charging onboard and poss pass-thru.

Is there any info on the logic chip function on there, I know its going to be basic but I am intrigued with the thermal readout and if that is connected to the charger routine to prevent overheating batteries.

More info on the TP4056 charger IC chipset on an equivalent (different PCB shaped board)

I've got 2 of these coming.

My idea is to fit them into a couple of stubs of clear plastic tube with end caps. I want to put a male 510 connector poking out through one end, And trim the other end cap to give access to the mini usb socket.

With a rubber band holding the mech mods firing button in, They should work OK as a cheap (And reasonably idiot proof) charger to lend out to friends when they want a loan of any of my mechs.

Actually I found some single 18650 battery holders (at a different site) [Gino Black Battery Storage Box Case Holder for 3.7V18650x1 Batteries] that would be PERFECT to solder on to these!

However as others said the Miller ML-102 SKU 1158900 is a pretty nice alternative
P.S. The TP4057 setup is the EXACT same chips that are in the Xtar MC1 (I broke the micro USB connector on mine, opened it up, found the number on the IC's (56b8) (which cross references to the TP4057) and soldered it back down saving it.

Only thing the miller doesn't have that the MC1 has is the sliding battery terminal which lets you charge anything from an 18350 all the way to an 18650 and everything in between

What are the inside terminals for. There is obviously one for temp but there is a input pos and ground. When power is hooked up the two outside contacts are at 4.x and the two inside pos and ground are at about 4.3.
