Backwards pin
Ok I must be stuck on stupid ,but it looks like the center pin
is in backwards. I ordered 3 to see if I could build my own mod.
I will have to design a center pin that works, but the one that is
in there looks wrong.

This is a normal design - another type looks like it`s the reverse of this.

I've actually see that firing pin style on some cheap EGO type batteries so they should work as is. But mind you they are more than likely not sealed 510/510 adapters (hole goes threw). These would also probably work with automatic Ego and small ciga-like type batteries.

Another possibility is the firing pin is adjustable having the slot in it?

Edit: just checked all of mine, they are all the sealed type (all I buy) . So no slot or hole.

They are not adjustable - just a split pin design, probably to help with airflow.

I know when I needed some spares for a specific tank and ended up with these by mistake, they didn`t work as well as the others with regard to airflow.

Confusingly enough, these work OK for airflow in another setup :)

That`s why I ended up with both types.

I really believe I can build a mech. mod, so these should work. When I get them I can see
if a pin can be built to make them work. Will be a cheap experiment.

Some of these slotted pins are two parts. They won't pull out of the connector unless you unscrew taking half out the top and half out the bottom. This one looks a bit like that style IMO.
