I would allways recommend to use proved quality.
Now purple does not say anything to me.
Itemnumber? Brand?
I am personaly using the green ones ;-)

I have efest 2250 mAh V1's and haven't had a problem with them.

I, on a normal day, use just over 1 battery a day - say i go through 3 batts every 2 days.

(I vape in spurts but all day long)

Just re-reading your statement -- the rating of the battery shouldn't change the *quality* of your vape with the vtr, just how long you can vape.

It only matters when you have a mech mod.

Panasonic NCR-18650B-3400mah

The one thing you shouldn't be cheap on is batteries. I'd advise getting some good ones. The Panasonic I recommended is probably the best battery for regulated devices with low amp requirements.
