Battery Question!
Would the Sony US18650VTC3 batteries fit and work best with the VTR?

Looks like they would work fine but may be an over kill for the VTR. They are only 1600mAh and you can get batteries that are much higher (longer lasting). I do see these are one of the few batteries you can still by here retail and if no others are available these will work.

I am sure they will also not ship the US18650VTC3 . The shipping badge was when they first started limiting the way you could ship the batteries. I think they forgot to remove and add the warning. They will only ship batteries if you order 100 and pay for extra shipping.

All batteries now state:

"This product is temporarily unshippable for retail orders due to air freight carrier restrictions. FastTech can still ship wholesale orders with quantity larger than 100 units per order."

As for the battery US18650VTC3 you don't need 30amps as the VTR will only pull 5amps maximum

So if you want the longest running battery SKU 1141100 is your best bet. But you will have to get it elsewhere unless you want to buy 100 batteries and pay extra shipping. =/

I have a VTR on the way to and will be using SKU 1372400 . But I already have a few I use for other mods.

I will also be looking for some SKU 1141100 but somewhere else for the longer running time.

Thanks man. I've got these so I was just curious if they'd fit in the vtr. I was thinking about grabbing some aw 2000mAh batteries but in the UK, all the good batteries are so damn expensive...

Anyways cheeeeeeeeeers.

Mubeen, that's the nice thing about a regulated device.. you don't need high drain batteries.. AFAIK virutally any Li-ion will provide a 5amp pulse discharge (pulse is considered less than 10 seconds)

If you have them already they should work. You just will have a short run time between charges.

We thought you wanted to buy them from your original post.

Thats why I said 30A is overkill ;)

@mubeen12 a lot of people on UK vapers buy batteries from torchy_the_battery_boy AKA ebay seller big_f_d_d Sells the decent batteries an seems like his own brand rewrapped 'Torchy' brand. Also has his website with battery reviews.
Also keep a look out for the brand SenyBor, I hear they are rewrapped pana, same as keeppower are rewrapped pana.
Being a regulated mod, any decent quality NCR li-ion will do, don't need to keep to the lower mAh of safer chemistry IMRs.
look up ukvapers.org and the Thread-Torchy-battery-prices

Lol got the torchy 18650's 2600mAh haha so I guess this post was pointless! Thanks again and happy new year! I'm probably going to get the Panasonic's before my VTR gets here, 3400mAh sounds like the sh#t.
