Do these kicks have "overheat" protection?
If for example you left the lock ring off and threw it in your pocket, so would the kick shut down the mech if it was firing in your pocket?

I wish it did. But they do not. I've cooked my mod more than once when the locking ring slipped on my mod. There is one on here that does have a 30 second cut off protection. Wish it was available when I bought this one.
