I am still prefering the VV kick. Gives a much smoother vape (120? Hz vs 33hz). The buzzing is annoying too sometimes.

With these kicks, I stay above 1.2 ohms (that seems to be the lowest load they can drive) and am happy with their performance in driving atomisers at around 1.6 ohms. They also work fine with clearos, even above 1.8 ohms...

Other than my 0.7ohm Taifun GT, I only "sub-ohm" (not agressively - I don't like washed-out taste of some overcooked ejuices) on my stay-at-home kit, which is mostly genesis-type, and drippers.

I prefer mesh wicks, use some silica, and minimise my use of cotton. My kicks are usually used in combination with 18350 cells, when I am out. At home, my 3D (not a great atomiser, but so convenient to load up ...) gets most dripper use currently, and is set up as a dual coil device, using lightweight coils, at 1.6ohms, driven by one of these kicks...
Initially, it was a 1.8ohms single coil (I will probably go back to a single-coil setup on it,tbh)

One normally runs multi-coil setups "natural", but I've found that one can use a kick on lightweight dual-coils almost anywhere and still benefit from the constant vape a kick can provide...

This kick works fine with the mini-protank 3 atomiser's 1.5ohm dual-coils , too...
