Ok you are really supposed to use IMR protected batteries with this right?
Fasttech does not have any though.
I want this but will not use my nitecore 14500's with it unless it is REALLY safe.
It is better to be silent and thought a fool, Than to speak up and remove all doubt.

your best bet is aw 4.8 amp rating or efest 4.5 amp rating IMR so you can not really go sub ohm but 0.9 ohm - 1 ohm coil right on the limit

IMR battery's are not protected but they are safe chem these are the only 14500 batteries that you can vape with at around 1 ohm if you tried to use a protected battery the amp draw would be to much

the aw are c8
i think the efest is c8 but not sure

The C-Rating also indicates the amount of time the battery can support that discharge rate. A 1 C battery can support the calculated draw continuously for 1 hour. 2 C would be 1/2 of an hour. 10C would be 1/10 of an hour

voltage/ohms = amp

so 4.1v/ 0.95 ohm coil = 4.4 amp draw

if your a chain vaper then be careful cos you near the battery rated limit or increase the ohm's to lower the amp draw

i order this today i got a genesis ready to go 0.95 ohms

happy vape land

anyone have flat top 14500 batteries? I think the flat top or shorter 14500 would help with the threading problem between the two tubes. I put Noalax on them and that helped a bit but didn't fix it completely.

Since it's telescopic, could you use 14650 batteries?

and remember ohms law, the actual voltage across the coil will be your starting point for making your calculations. for example my magneto gets .88 volt drop, so a fresh charged battery at 4.19 will be only 3.31(lots of drop thank you stupid damn spring loaded center pin).
so ohms law would be 3.31volts 3.48amps .95ohms 11.53 watts.
heres a link to ohms law calculater
by the way i modded the magneto to get a .2 voltage drop I'm so proud.
