Yes. Coils that can be used in a protank 1 will work in a protank 3. Protank 1 coils are single coils only though. Protank 3 coils are dual coil.

no this will not work in a kanger protank 3. the Protank 3 uses a dual coil, which is taller than the single coil. this single coil would leave about a 4 milimeter gap between the top of the coil head and the bottom of the airflow tube of the tank.

According to kangers website the protank 3 mini uses the dual coil heads. SKU 1727000 is a 1.8 ohm head and is the highest ohm authentic dual coil that seems to be offered here. I have tried the generics of the dual coils here and regretted it, so now I only get the authentic ones in the dual coil format here.

Everything I have read lists the width of the T3S coil at 9 mm. This item SKU 1425902 is 10 mm wide, so the skirt would probably be too wide, but I don't have a T3S to try it.
