Silicon seal, not smelly rubber
These have a Silicon connector seal so don't have a rubber smell but vape terrible anyway because the coil doesn't have non/res/non wire so it burns the silicon seal. But when properly rebuild using non/res/non wire these are great. Is it worth the hassle? For me it is because you just can't buy replacements heads (even genuine ones) that don't smell like a rubber.
These BCC still come close to carto tank when it comes to flavor no matter what.

@ Criterion - if the coil doesn't have non/res/non wire than it's not genuine. I've used them for over 6 months to know.

I've never seen any rebuilder use non/res/non coil in this style head, nor are the originals from Kanger built that way (at least none I have seen). I have been considering doing this myself though. I have found the coils in these units to not really be made with extreme care... to put it the best way I can. I do go through and straighten out the mess that's in there as well as remove the absolutely huge "flavor wick" that's in there as it causes dry vape even with pure pg liquid for me. No leaks yet.
