Did you clean it first?
My opinions are my own. If you disagree with them please take a big healthy crap in your hands and give yourself a round of applause.

I think you forgot the rule #1 when buying stuff from China.
ALWAYS, BUT ALWAYS WASH THE DEVICES 2-3 TIMES BEFORE USING IT.

Try and avoid soap and water, use something with a high concentration of alcohol and leave it to soak for a bit, give it a scrub with a toothbrush and rinse.
If you can, invest in some Isopropanol, a litre is cheap and disolves all the gunk on new parts.

I already thought I'll have to wash it, but I didn't know how. So I'll wash it with alcohol. Very thanks for answers!

I don't care if its sold from your country of origin or mars always wash first. If in doubt wash again and again. Aint no telling who has had their booger pickers all over it or what rare chipmunk urine was used as cutting fluid at the factory.

Don't know about the taste but it sure looks like you're going to have to drill out the air holes (to about 2mm or more) if you want to get any decent vapor. Also, are you using the factory installed build. With the exception of my first Patriot, pre-builds usually suck...many vapors throw them out without a try and make their own. Anyway, good luck with it. With a bit of modding you should be happier.
PS: Noticed that while you've been a FT member for a while you seem new to this forum. If so, welcome and stick around. You'll definitely learn a ton of stuff...I sure have!

Curious, I have a professional stainless steel Ultra Sonic cleaner, the type used in jewellery stores or pawn shops so its a very good one. WILL throwing things into the ultra sonic cleaner which of course just uses water, be acceptable for cleaning pieces such as this when it first arrives?
Or must I put a drop of dishwashing soap in to cut grease, or something else?

I add some alcohol to my ultrasonic, and it works a treat. Also, you can use it to steep your bottles of Juice in.
If you clean with iso, make sure you rinse it well afterwards, preferably before it dries totally. I tend to use booze and lemon juice, as there's nothing that you wouldn't otherwise consume to taint your juice.

I don't understand the claims against using plain soap and water that some make. For something like an atty, anyway. Obviously don't want to be submerging a VV/VW. I've had zero problems just washing in the sink with hot water and peppermint castille soap. Rinse well, towel dry, then leave in sun and breeze to fully dry, or use air compressor if I'm wanting it sooner. So, what's the beef with soap and water cleaning SS/brass/copper?
