The latest news is that the factory heard this and they are going to discontinue this product very soon.

Great news Geek, thanks!
I understand they added the swirls to make it less slippery, or easier to maintain grip on in general but I don't think it even accomplishes that and it detracts from the look overall, so I's great to hear they're going to change things. I don't know what the idea was with the bling / diamonds, I'm sure that the few females that do use the VAMO, wouldn't care about diamonds on their 3 pound PV anyway, so that adds more to the overall poor looks (Then without diamonds, but still having the holes looks very cheap)
I think V2 look was good, maybe they could just add a few small bands of tight knurling before it gets coated, that would help with the grip on it tremendously.
It's good to know they've heard the community though, hopefully new version will launch soon, an hope we get to see some sneak peak pics soon too! (Got any, hint, hint?)

good to hear, hope that means there will be a lot of $10 current V3's around so that we can swap out the electronics into our SS V2's ;o)

Which factory? Not to offend, but only manufacturer of Vamo I know of for sure is Rainbow Heaven and the V3 I bought from FastTech definitely does NOT contain their firmware. Others manufacture Vamo but trying and find out exactly who they are is iffy at best.

Rainbow heaven is a reseller they do not make the vamo they have their own software that was installed on them the ones from fast tech do not have that software on them!

Excuse me, but Shenzhen RainbowHeaven Technology Co., Ltd is a manufacturer and they do manufacture their own Vamo spec including their firmware. I already said the one I bout at FT wasn't RH...

The V4 has the body of the V2 but with the PCB of the V3.
