Try to discard it little bit (you can use your flashlight) and put it again.

hi, just an opinion but those batteries are not safe chemistry/high drain to start off with, and another thing i just spotted in discussions is this..

"I bought a pair a long time ago before I knew any better. The capacity was around 900mAh on mine under 1A discharge"

WTF ? although i can not verify this as correct, that dont look good !! a good 18350 can return them figures!.

just my own opinion, but i would not use these batteries in a device that i put to my face and push a fire button.

When I got my SVD I put in a protected 18350 and the same thing happened as with yours. Try turning the voltage down to 3v and see if it fires - mine did but as soon as it reached 3.7v it shut off. With Panasonic 18650s SKU 1233700 it works a treat. Sounds like you need better batteries.

Just ordered your type of battery NeilP, and a charger. Well, I have to use the ego-cig for another 14 days. Those batteries is not for sale in a regular shop here in Sweden.

@Knut_Lande

"Why does always shit like this happend to me..."
He-he......and I thought it was just me all the time!

But seriously, please follow up on your post when/if you get your problem solved. It may be of help to someone undecided on this product.
Myself, I'm looking at this mod because I have a dozen 18650's on hand and nowhere to stick 'em.

Hmmn.......perhaps I should rephrase that last sentence...........

I use my svd with https://www.fasttech.com/products/1053201 Stacked or single 18350 and https://www.fasttech.com/products/1190101 18650 no prob. with either config. Be aware when changing back and forwards from stacked to single SVD power button needs to be tapped 5x to drain circuit board then insert batt and use. I have heard ultrafire doesn't make very good batt. but I have not had a prob. with my 18350. Also per Innokin requirements supposed to use IMR batt http://www.innokin.com/itaste-svd.html towards the bottom will see fits 18650/350 imr. With that said none of my batt are imr they are icr and I have had no prob. with batt. life nor functionality, All batt. bentioned and SVD were purchased here ( : Hope this helps ya...

Of course! It has to be shut off first to clear the memory of the previous configuration. Sometimes the simplest answer is the best......Kudos to you Timbug.

How about it Knut? That do it for you? (I hope)

mine wont do 4000mah but will 2600mah unprtected samsung icr 18650 the pink ones of here they work fine
it also takes 2400 protected ultrafire but there crap and dont last very long
I told you so !free at last
