So would I.
Especially since I never found this alleged great difference between factory and DIY wick, so I don't really see the point in bothering to do a DIY wick on something that lasts me weeks and months and costs 1.25 or 1.50$. Not to mention that DIY wicks never last that long, as well.
And we shouldn't forget that there are people who can't DIY because of physical disabilities.

Hi AlexTM , the difference is not alleged , just crank up the voltage/wattage and you will see it... well taste it.
The DIY are made of better materials so they will last at least the same as stock .
I have been vaping for 3 months and never kept a coil till end of life because they start tasting pretty bad so DIY or at least swapping the coils is a must IMHO.
BTW washing helps in the beginning but it only takes out the surface "shmutz" it won't clean it properly.
I know this because after washing coil with water , alcohol and denture cleaner the coil was 80-90% still dirty.

Well, I have been vaping for three-and-a-half years and in all this time I never saw the point in DIY wicks for Vivis, evods or similar things. Then again, I don't "crank up the voltage" either, I don't want to run around the whole time with an assault weapon. (Although I own mods and know how to DIY a wick.)
Also, sorry, but nonsense: DIY wicks last maybe a week, two is alreads a good age, and that's with high quality (and rather expensive) material. Stock wicks last several times as much. Unless of course you thoroughly abuse your wicks by cranking up voltage up to the ninnies. In that case, don't blame the stock wicks.
Also, do learn to dry burn, it sure cleans my atties and has done so for the past few years.

I managed to sneak in my order on vape-atomizer-mesh.com
with a hefty 15% discount and another discount I didn't understand but hey , it was taking money off so at the end was almost 50% off from what I would had to pay in Canada
Good extra leads too.

Just had to chime in, after seeing some of the posts may I recommend the following:
1: Buy an inexpensive ultrasonic cleaner, it will thoroughly clean your parts and add 100%+ to their life(I clean with denatured alcohol)
2: At least once try to rebuild with 3mm 100% pure cotton wick, the taste is unbelievable.

These are total garbage. These should be 2 ohm, I got one 1.7ohm, the other 2.4ohm. I looked the coils, they were build really badly, all crooked and jammed to one side. The top wick were more like fluff from cotton ear buds. Only a thing good about them is the silicon seal, I used that to put it in my original Kanger head instead of the stinking rubber. No more smell. But as a product these heads are the worst crap I ever bough and cost more the original Kanger.

I got 2x 2ohm. But one is actually 2.2 ohm and the other 2.6 ohm. That's not exactly accurate in my book. But the silicone seal don't put out any rubber odor which is good.
