Looks like copper. FastTech: confirm?
The color really looks like copper, brass is less red-ish more yellow.

FastTech: Perhaps you could test it & confirm.
1) Some brass can be slightly magnetic using a strong neodymium magnet. Copper will never be magnetic at all.
2) Copper will also bend fairly easily. Try bending it by hand against a table. Brass won't easily bend unless you use pliers.
3) If you have a piece of Known brass & copper, the brass will scratch copper but copper can't scratch brass.

If it is copper... It will sell very well!!

FastTech employees have "staff" under their names. Here is an example. geek staff post
When I hit 20 posts I can add a signature with "Not fastTech staff".

Doesn't correcting you right away & even providing a link to a true staff post... kind of fail at misleading you.

We have tested the way you have described. This is copper not brass. The manufacturer does claim these to be copper as well. The name previously said "brass" due to a staff error.

Please let me know if you'd like us to do further tests. Thank you.
I'm not a CS staff but I help answering questions here. If I missed your questions, I apologize and you are not being ignored :).
