battery dies all of sudden
hi people

got a quick question, my battery has been acting up the last couple of days.

this battery use to last me the better part of 3 days when i just got it.

i would charge it, till the charger light turns green, then after about a days use, the battery just dies, with no sign of life at all.

but once i connect it back to the charger, the lights flicker and after about 5 minutes the light turns green again and it works fine.

what could the issue be here? please help.

Try another charger - if that doesn't fix it, then raise a return ticket and get it replaced.

Sounds like the short protection is getting tripped, when connecting it to the charger your resetting it if you like, same with standard eGo batteries. Check your atty for shorts, even standard clearo's can get a simple short with prolonged coil use. That's what it sounds like to me as I've tripped my standard eGo alot while experimenting with coils not designed for eGo type batteries and a simple reset on the charger brings it back to life.

Check for shorts is my advice to eliminate one possibility anyway.

I didn't know about that, that's some useful info, akimbonoob!

I also wonder how long you've been using it for. If it's not what akimbonoob said, it might just be that the battery has reached the end of its life, as it also sounds like the behavior I've had with dying cell-phone batteries.

i think this is just a dud battery.

my attys work perfectly fine on my other battery, so theres definitely no short on the atty.

Mine finally died after 2 months...the rubber grommet, on bottom of contact somehow disintegrated. Any little leakage/or drop of e-liquid seeped in and "poof"! It died.

I opened it up, before throwing away and it has 1 single white wire connected to top contact - no type of seal to prevent anything going in there - it was like loose, not firm from day 1.
I've had better luck with their basic stainless steel 900 mah rechargeable battery for like $4.60 something.
