Are you sure you're charging it correctly? What charger are you using?

With the standard 4.2V/420mA charger you can buy here it takes about 6 hours to fully charge, and need to wait until the led on it becomes green.

Hi cunin, thanks for replying.
I'm using a standard 4.2v charger & wait till it's green; like you said it takes 6 hrs to charge - & now the charge isn't holding up. I thought it was supposed to last a longer time - as others had mentioned here.

uh, ohhh...I'm editing, as it was all charged up 3 hrs ago and the blue light is blinking again.

Yeah it may be defective (you can contact FT support to return it I believe), or some short circuiting that's making it last less (try it with another atomizer if you have one around). I'm using mine for the last 3 weeks and it's still fine.

A defective item is always going to show up sooner or later, but you get full refund/replacement in that case.

i have the exact same problem- after fully charging the battery and using it for a short while, the light flashes thrice and then the battery is dead.

i have contacted FT and they are sending me a replacement.

Hi Spiffy01...
Is your button black? Mine is.
The photo here doesn't show a black button. Wondering if these came from the same manufacturer (?).

btw..mine doesn't have the 'tm' on it.

Btw mine has the same button as the photo, but it also is missing the "tm" and has only 2 air notches on the top (the part with threading).
They might just get different batches from the same factory, or even from different ones, idk. I just ordered 4 more (2 for a friend) and I hope they are from a good batch :P

Thanks for the input.
I haven't given up on my 'black button" battery - it's been a little over a week, now....& it seems to be working fine.
I think what it might be is that FT had sent me a replacement atomizer 1339300 that has 2 contacts on the bottom that are a bit longer than the twistable part - it's not flat like my other atomizers.
I think, since I was using this new battery w/that new atomizer from the get go, I just might have pushed down on the top part of the battery & most probably it wasn't making a contact for it to fully take a charge.
So, I took a little eyeglass screwdriver, gently lifted it up a just a tiny bit, connected to the charger overnight & it seems to be holding a charge w/no flashing blue light. It's holding a constant charge, for the past days, from 7-8am till about 11pm - for me as a constant vaper, that's good enough for me. So, for now...it's a keeper.
Let us know, how your others hold up.
thanks

wow I don't know how much you vape but for me it's lasting 3 days lol. I think I vape about 1.5/2ml/day.

I vape about twice that much...about 3.5-4ml a day.
I'm going to order the 25cm charger & see how that goes - someone said something about it having a special chip (?). Maybe, it might charge faster, too.
I'd love to see the day I can get at least 2 days out of a trustworthy battery.

Btw...my 'black eyed' battery has 4 notches.

After overcoming a problem at the beginning, this battery is still working great. Charge lasting 1 day for me.
