I can not reach my goal! Can someone Help Please?
Hello
i ordered this modul to reduce the voltage from a 18650 battery (4,2V) to 1,5V. But i noticed after a quick test, that i can not reach my target Voltage. The input Voltage is 4,2V but the Output Voltage range is in between 3,3V and 2,4V.
What am I doing wrong? And what can i do to reach the target (1,5V)

i think you have the answers in your question :)

: Because this is Buck converter, The input voltage need to be 1.5V higher than the output voltage.

using 4.2 V input doing a 2.7 V output ... ( enter the 3.3 and the 2.4 V ) :)

all is good :)

edit : for reach the target you would (1.5 ) , i think you have a potentiometer on it .
but be carreful it's not very good , i have burned mine ...

( ps: not burned exactly , now he just understand nothing and pass the same voltage output than for the intput ( i surely must change a resistance ... maybe in an other life . )

Using the Poti gives me 3,3-2,4V. But why is the lowest Voltage 2,4V. The converter should go down to 1,5V. My usable range should be 1,5V-2,7 when using a 4,2V input. 4,2V - 1,5(The input voltage need to be 1.5V higher than the output voltage) =2,7V.
Please correct me if i am wrong.

sorry i can't tell you more :s

if you use the potar and you have 2.4voutput by using a 4.2 v full charged batt input .

for me you can't go lowest than that . but i have surely wrong ( or not )
i have just wrote my exp .

I used it to power a 1,5V 1mW green laser modul. I put the laser modul the converter and a 18650 battery in this case https://www.fasttech.com/p/1258801.
