To France it's changed several times. From free to 5-6$, off to 2$, up again ...no idea about now ;) But everything I get delivered to the door. Fortunately by standard post... I used only ones DHL, at the beginning, for a (little) bigger order from AB, (something like 3 mech mods and an atty lol) I paid the 20+ $ for it, and as dhl packages get a special delivery by "taxi" (I live 120km from the town where the aeroport and custom offices are) they charged me an other 30$.
...never again =)

What kind of scam is DHL running in France?

That 'taxi' is usually included in the shipping. :(

That's what I thought too, but on that very moment they didn't leave me many choices... On the other side that 20$ wouldn't even cover the benzine for 240km for a van... I never felt like seriously investigate if I got conned or not, just dropped it;)
