Time for a stupid question.
Is this charger better than the Nitecore I2/D2? Hahaha

This product is known to be the best charging product ever created to date. Seriously, people at Nitecore have been eying this product in utter dispair, realising they could never produce something this top notch.

@ Jaccoman
Yeah, I read on another forum that Nitecore tried to reverse engineer this technology but it was so far in advance of anything they had seen before that they just couldn't get their heads around it. ;)

The D2 is one of the crappiest chargers for sale in the world. Don't be tempted by all the extremely positive reviews. It's crap in extremo. Buy the Miller ML.
(seriously: I have the I2, I want the D4. Absolute no brainer)

What do you need it to do, besides the obvious?

Do you need it to charge anything but Li-ion?
Do you need a powerbank function?
Do you want it to charge faster than 500mA?
Do you need to buy it from here? (there are better chargers available elsewhere)

On topic, this ML-102 (v7.1) seems to be a very decent powerbank, but is rather limited as a charger.

Most people seem to have a hardon for Nitecore but I have this SKU 1311002 and it is superb. Use several times a day and has been for month's without a problem. One to consider.

Yes my Nitecore D4 went in the bin after a few months. Don't understand the hype either. My Xtar WP2 is charging almost non stop for over a year without issues.

I need a charger for the INR Samsung 25-R 18650.
Seriously that you had that problem with the D2? That's sad!

The Xtar looks really good... But I can't spend 40 bucks now.

Actually according to the data you can get here (as usual if genuine device on FT), the device sound pretty consistent (good charging profile!).

A good choice for the price, if you are looking for a compact USB charger (travel, backup, etc).
