ATtiny MCU
Does this driver contain an Atmel ATtiny CPU? Is it possible to identify the SOIC-8 chip? This would be interesting since there is open source firmware code for ATtiny MCUs that allows to completely customize the UI (e.g. mode settings). Simply search for "BLF-VLD" or "luxdev" to find the code. It is supposed to work with Nanjg 105C drivers.

We tried to find out but unfortunately the printings on the chip has been erased. The distributor does not know either but it definitely looks like an ATtiny.

In the meantime, this particular product isn't advertised as a Nanjg driver. SKU 1122302 is definitely a genuine Nanjg and it has got an ATtiny on board.

Yes the Nanjg 105C's, AK-47C, and 101-AK-A1 have Amtel ATtiny13A-SSU chips on them, they are flashable...but you cannot retrieve the firmware currently on them, there is a "comparable" build by a guy named DrJones from BLF, it is called the NLITE.hex and you can write them to the boards for almost exact same levels

But as geek said...unknown if this is ATTiny13 MCU..bummer

I can't get my soic8 clip on it to find out if its programmable or not. Theres a surface mount capacitor in the way. Even if I could, it would require different programming technique because this driver is designed differently.

Its not an ATTiny13a. I took it off the board to try to get a read on it with my USBASP. Must be a PIC chip.
