Vamo Hot Spring replacement?
Heelo dear bros, will this spring work on a ss vamo v2?
My vamo bottom cap and battery spring get warm/hot while using it.
I read that some vamo springs are defective and need to be replaced with lower resistance springs.

Thanks for reading.

Yeah, that should work fine in a mod.theyre made for flashlights that use the same li-ion batteries we use for vaping. If your vamo spring is silver its the old one,new ones are gold like this.

The gold plated spring you referenced is only 7mm in diameter, id say looking the SS Vamo V2 it would be closer to 18 to 20mm diameter, just measure the one you currently have to be certain.
I hope this helps.

you are correct however there is another step in there around 7mm so I would agree it will fit

EDIT:
Hang on just had a look & would you believe the b/chrome has & the SS doesn't so I retract that statement above !!

Yea they are quite alot smaller, but you get 2 of em for the 60 cents, so you could try and overlap them to make them more stable.Pretty sure FT has other sizes around somewhere as well.

Your right Frank,
from the 2 a workaround is possible but I actually thought both had that step which the spring would have pushed on real nice & only when I went to change the battery I noticed the SS did not have that.

I use a provari silver spring that is quite small and it works great but i have to be carefull every time i open the battery compartment so i dont lose the spring. So i think these might work aswell.
