Microstick style mod on FastTech ?
Just a quick question here.

When I saw these folding "Pipe style mods", I started thinking about the little palm sized Microstick mod by "Chel". I've always had a bit of a soft spot for these dinky little pocket mods, But I've never been able to warrant the 100+ quid price tag to get a real one.

Seeing these "Pipes" on here prompted me to have a poke about on the FastTech site to see if they did something similar, But so far I haven't found anything close.

I pretty much only use mech mods now, So I'm not really interested in things like Innokin MVP's, But has anyone seen something here that might be what I'm after?

I requested the microstick a while back on the "mods you want to see" thread. Damn sexy mod but I rarely use 350s . This does remind me of it, just a pitty it only takes 14mm and under attys when its closed......sad face.

I doubt that they could get bulk orders of genuine Microsticks, But if something similar could be found, I'd be on it in a second.

+2 details
Smoktechs Gripper 18350 Mech. looks like a cousin of the Microstick . And they're on
sale for only ten bucks at MV. I have the 18650 VV Gripper, but not the 18350.

OP, next time provide a link to the source you are asking about for that price you can keep it!!!

Madvapes has a rig like that called the gripper but you are VERY limited on the tanks/clearos/cartos you can put on it, and its 18350 only not telescoping

This unit you could feasible put a Kanger T3, vivi nova mini or other eGo sized tanks on it just fine, plus it's telescoping so you could throw a 18350 and a kick in it after you adjust the battery tube lenght

I wasn't making a product request here, I know that FastTech wouldn't be able to get the originals at anywhere near the price or the quantities they'd want, So there was no point asking them to try. My original question was to whether FastTech already stocked something similar that I hadn't been able to find.

I agree that the Gripper mech isn't really up to much though...... What are you meant to do when you get a XL carto (Or a 510 to 510 adapter for standard length cartos) stuck on the 510? If I still used cartos, I might consider one, But I would chop and file out some of the carto holder tube first so it was just the 510 with a 5 or 6mm lip at the bottom, And a 10mm ish "Support ring" at the top to stop the then weaker 510 area being folded off due to the carto having room to lever at it. At least if I did this first, I would have something to get the pliers onto if anything got stuck.

No, What I'm really looking for is a Microstick style device that I could at very least fit an Evod sized clearo into, Possibly even an atty that's little bigger (Somewhere between 14 or 18mm would still leave a pretty good choice for attys to fit in it).

At the minute, I'm using a pare of "Robust vv 14500's" with evod attys as my driving kit. I've tried using mechs in the car, But I've found that unlocking/locking the button every time I have a vape is way too fiddly with one hand. A block style top button mod on the other hand could just be stood unlocked in my car's (Now unused, But cleaned out) ash tray.

What I was asking for in the 'mods you want to see cloned' thread is a clone of the microstick, obviously not the original but mix it up a bit by making one that can also take attys up to 23mm.
The original gripper (non vv type) is a POS but I love the form factor. I got one about 8 months ago and it only took me 2 days to break it :-)
