Not firing on vamo, centre pin fix?
Hi all,

I am pretty happy with the Kayfun, works well on my SVD and Chentinel.

It doesn't fire on my Vamo though...

It seems that the Kayfun positive screw sticks out a little too much from the 510 connection .
Might that be the issue?

Another question while I am here: I burn my tongue easily, is it supposed to be a hot vape like that?

Thank you in advance,

Christiaan

how many ohms does it have? as far as i know svd still works on 1,3 ohm and vamo lowest ohms is 1,5. If your kayfun ohm is high enough, maybe its center pin fault. About the burn: do you tryed to vape with different juice in it? Its got to be problem in your ejuice or maybe you should try to rebuild your coil. Try to lift higher or lower your coil and if thats not helping, i think you should rebuild it.

1 kudos received details
- Vamo goes to 1,2Ω
- For your tongue, just use a drip tip with a wider bore.

Sticking out too much? should not be a problem, might leave a gap but should fire. I agree with above, check your coil resistance and make sure its over 1.2 ohm

The coil is a 1.7 ohm microcoil so that should be allright.

I believe it is an issue with my Vamo's centre pin.
It seems to be pushed down below the insulator ring.

Works fine with atomisers with a long threaded 510 like the Trident.
Not for the Kayfun.

I might have to order a new Vamo.

Thanks for the help

@Mensah,
I believe the drip tip can not be swapped for another one ...

You can replace the o-ring in the vamo which may raise the firing pin so it will work with the Kayfun

Thank you Viking, that seems to be a solution I can try.
