You may want to start a ticket if its defective.

Have you tried (or are you SURE) your Battery is OK ??? ... the 3.7 V is what it WILL show when inserting a new battery) & the KSD v 1.2 is the manufacturer No..... i.e. KSD Build Number Version 1.2

I'd be checking the voltage on yer battery as a first port of call then moving on to the checking the Spring is not broken & then onto the "pin" at the top

As HH said

3.7 volts is the battery output and the KSD v1.2 (version 1.2) is the version of the chip-set (firmware of the board)

Have you clicked the power button 5 times to turn it on?

Has it worked before or is it doing this right out of the box?

Are you getting any error messages such as 0.0 ohm on the screen when tank or carto screwed on ?

Are you using protected batteries by any chance?

All my (non-protected) batteries show 4.1V after a charge, not 3.7
What exact battery are you using? Was it from here?

Viking, if atty is not connecting it will say 9.9 ohms....
Have you checked this Babydevil? (by holding right button down till it shows something up)

@Magic_Al

0.0ohms shows if they tightened to hard and broke the O-ring (shorted reads 0.0ohms) it is a common problem with vamo's

You can Google (vamo 0.0ohms) or (vamo ohm error fix) and they have all sort of fixes.

I read up on it before I purchased mine (I own a Vamo 3). Certainly didn't want one if I wouldn't be able to fix it myself.

You are correct though 9.9ohms with nothing on it or if nothing connected but if shorted it will show 0.0ohms with or without atty on it.

I'm thinking they probably got it to work as they have not come back to check answers in awhile.

Figured out how to turn it on. I'm guessing they were new to vamo as they stated only what it reads when batteries first installed. No mention if they clicked it 5 times or not to start it.

They might have thought just stick batteries and it works witch it wont (5 clicks is a must to turn on)

Also 3.7 volts is what battery rated voltage and what vamo first reads. You can not check the correct volts until it is actually on.

All FT 18650 and 18350 batteries say 3.7v . They charge to 4.2 of course

Panasonic 3.7volt

I don't think they will come back to check for answers or they did and didn't say anything as they made a post before about a vamo kit SKU 1374100 and never came back for the answer from geek .
